UNIVERSAL
Martina is excited to announce her first post-graduation performance job! She is lucky to be a dancer in the “Universal Holiday Parade ft. Macy’s”! She is learning so much from this experience already and couldn’t be more grateful for this opportunity.

GRADUATION
In May 2024, Martina graduated Cum Laude from Oklahoma City University with her Bachelors in Performing Arts in Dance Performance. She is so thankful to all of her professors, friends, and the university for an amazing 4 years. Martina cannot wait to see where this next chapter of life will take her and all her success is owed to OCU.
MOVE !
To finish off her college career, Martina had the opportunity to perform in her last production of ‘MOVE!” under the direction of Tiffany Van Der Merwe! This show allowed her to explore new styles as she was casted in jazz funk and hiphop dances! She is endlessly grateful to all the choreographers for letting her be apart of such a fun and rewarding last show!
HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR
Martina recently just finished performing in OCU’s annual holiday spectacular for the last time. She served as a featured performer, line captain, and had the best last christmas show possible! Martina was lucky enough to be in many different numbers such as a rhythm tap piece, two heartfelt lyrical pieces, and a fun an energetic hiphop number!
Student choreography show
Martina had the amazing opportunity of being selected as a choreographer for the Study Choreography show, “We’re Back Again”. She created an upbeat, bright and fun rhythm tap piece about living life to the fullest entitled “Lettin’ Go!”. She is so grateful to her amazing cast who made her vision exceed her expectations and brought it to life! Martina cannot thank the directors, Shadoe Brant and Alana Martin, more for their continued support throughout the entire process.
STEPS ON BROADWAY SUMMER STUDY
Martina spent 3 weeks this summer dancing, singing and training at Steps on Broadway for their summer study program. She learned so much and made so many connections throughout her time there! She is so grateful to have worked closely with Nicholas Cunningham in learning his piece to perform!
OCU NYC
Martina had the amazing opportunity to spend her spring break in New York City studying, training, and learning from professionals in the industry. This workshop is held by OCU alumni that are all living and working in the big apple. She took numerous dance classes from stars currently on Broadway, as well as learned what it's like to live in NYC. Martina was able to network with some of the best in the business.
RIFF DALLAS
To start off the new year, Martina attended the Riff Intensive in Dallas, Texas. Martina took numerous classes from the best tap teachers and choreographers in the industry. She is so grateful to have had the chance to reconnect with choreographers and continue to network in the tap world!
